Monthly Giving

Join the League of Extraordinary Givers!

Put your giving on auto pilot. Affordable, exciting, and it provides sustained support for RMHC of Western Montana’s programs. Monthly giving enables you to join a community of supporters who understand the importance of providing families with a sick or injured child the care and resources they need while keeping the family together.

By giving monthly, you invest what makes sense for you and make an incredible impact over the course of your membership. It’s sustained support: Monthly gifts enable us to invest in specific areas of our work and expand our programs because we know we have the ongoing support of the League of Extraordinary Givers.

At Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Montana, we take extraordinary measures to create ordinary times for our families. By joining the League of Extraordinary Givers (LXG), you’re showing that you’ll do the same.

LXG members receive discounts to all RMHC of Western Montana events and online recognition, if desired.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I give monthly?

As soon as you submit your first monthly donation, you become a part of The League of Extraordinary Givers, a group of supporters committed to keeping families close. The consistent support of monthly donations helps RMHC of Western Montana plan for the future and anticipate which projects can be funded in the year ahead.

How is my monthly donation used?

By committing to a monthly donation to RMHC of Western Montana (RMHC), you make a sustainable gift that will be used month after month to provide immediate support to families coming to Missoula for urgent medical care for their child through programs like Meals from the Heart, Super Siblings and Hearts of Hope.

Can I donate in memory or in honor of someone?

Yes, select the option to donate “In honor of” or “In memory of” at checkout and include the person’s name. RMHC will send a recognition to your honoree at your request.

How much should I donate?

You can donate any amount you choose, though most LXG members give $20 a month. No matter the size, every single donation adds up. Whether it is $20 or $100, your monthly gift makes a difference!

How will I receive record of my monthly gifts?

At the end of the year, we’ll send you a tax receipt with a compiled list of all your gifts. If you’d like a receipt before the end of the year, you can request one by calling our office or simply emailing Teresa at twindham@rmhcmt.org.

LXG Donor Spotlight

Mandy S.

“I’ve made it a goal in my life to actually budget charitable giving into my monthly expenses. Being able to consistently give money helps me feel connected to the Ronald McDonald House in my own community. I follow them on Instagram and love being able to see how my few dollars can contribute to a great cause. I also like being able to help even more on a random basis when I see they have specific needs of items or dinners. Having the mindset that ‘dollars add up’ hopefully inspires others to make monthly planning a reality also.”

“After Juniper came home from the NICU, we knew we wanted to figure out a way to give back to the Ronald McDonald house in a sustainable way. Although no dollar amount could come close to expressing our gratitude for the hospitality and care we received during our stay, we know that even a small monthly contribution makes it that much easier for the staff to keep up the amazing work that they do.”
